Removing the lambda oxygen sensor

NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
Sheared wires can cause a short circuit.

- Do not pull on wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
NOTE:
The cable of the Lambda oxygen sensor is black. The installation location of the Lambda oxygen sensor is in front of the catalytic converter.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Unlock and release the lock (1) with a standard screw driver (2).
- Guide out connector (3) in the arrow direction and place it to one side.
- Release the line of the Lambda oxygen sensor (1) from the holder (2).
- Release cable tie (3).
- Feed out the heat shield (4) in arrow direction and set aside.
- Release and remove the Lambda oxygen sensor (1) with the special tool 0 491 074 (11 7 020) .
