Remove the clean air pipe of cylinder bank 1

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE RIGHT DME CONTROL UNIT .
• Refer to REMOVING RIGHT INTAKE FILTER HOUSING WITH RIGHT FRONT-END STRUT .
• Refer to PARTIALLY RELEASING THE RIGHT CHARGE AIR LINE .

Partially removing the engine ventilation line from cylinder bank 1 

• Unlock the retaining clip (1) upwards using a suitable screwdriver.
• Slide engine ventilation line (2) downwards to the side.

• Using suitable screwdrivers (3), lever the retaining clips (1) upwards and unclip from the surrounding guides (2).

  Due to the design, locking the retaining clip  (2) in place in the release position is not possible  .

• Remove clean air pipe of bank 1 (4).
