  • 11 42 020 Removing and installing/replacing full-flow oil filter completely (840i coupe/convertible/Gran Coupe sedan)
    • Remove full-flow oil filter
    • For full-flow oil filter replacements: Remount oil-to-water heat exchanger
    • Installing full-flow oil filter
  • 11 42 200 Removing and installing/sealing or replacing oil feed line for turbocharger (840i and 840i xDrive coupe/convertible/Gran Coupe sedan)
    • Remove the oil feed line for the turbocharger
    • Installing the oil feed line for the turbocharger
  • 11 42 210 Removing and installing/sealing or replacing oil return line for turbocharger (840i coupe/convertible/Gran Coupe sedan)
    • Removing the oil return line for the turbocharger
    • Installing the oil return line for the turbocharger

    • Remove full-flow oil filter

    • Removing oil supply line on turbocharger of cylinders 1 to 4
    • Installing oil feed line on turbocharger cylinders 1 to 4
  • 11 42 207 Removing and attaching/sealing or replacing oil feed line for left turbocharger (M850i xDrive coupe)
    • Removing the oil feed line at the turbocharger for cylinders 5 to 8
    • Installing oil feed line on turbocharger cylinders 5 to 8

    • Remove the turbocharger for the cylinders 1 to 4
    • Installing the turbocharger for the cylinders 1 to 4

    • Remove the turbocharger for the cylinders 5 to 8
    • Insert the turbocharger for the cylinders 5 to 8

    • Removing oil return cover
    • Installing oil return cover
  • 11 42 350 Removing and installing/replacing both oil feed lines (M850i xDrive coupe)
    • Removing the oil feed line at the turbocharger for cylinders 5 to 8
    • Installing oil feed line on turbocharger cylinders 5 to 8
    • Removing oil supply line on turbocharger of cylinders 1 to 4
    • Installing oil feed line on turbocharger cylinders 1 to 4
  • 11 42 352 Expand and install/replace oil return lines (M850i xDrive coupe)
    • Removing the left and right turbocharger
    • When replacing the left and right turbocharger: Remount components
    • Installing both turbochargers

    • Removing oil supply line on turbocharger of cylinders 1 to 4
