Remove Soft-close motor

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LOADING EDGE TRIM .
• Refer to REMOVING TRUNK COMPARTMENT LIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE UPPER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANELS .
• Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL .

• Disconnect plug connection (1).
• Unclip the Bowden cable (2) from the holders on the tail panel in the direction of the arrow.
• Unclip the Bowden cable (2) from the trunk lid lock (3) and guide it out.

• Lever out the soft-close motor (1) in the direction of the arrow at the marked points (2).
