Removing the rear soft-close motor

- Before performing any work on the airbag, always disconnect the battery ground lead from the battery.
- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING REAR DOOR TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE MODULE BRACKET REARWARD .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR OUTER DOOR HANDLE SUPPORT .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR DOOR LOCK .
- Loosen cover (1) on locks (2).
- Remove the cover (1).
- Detach Bowden cable (1) from door lock (2).
- Remove the Bowden cable (1) along with the soft-close motor.
