Remove the air duct of the bumper cover laterally

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER .
• Refer to REMOVING CENTER RADIATOR ORNAMENTAL GRILLE .
• Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING BOTH WHEEL ARCH COVERS IN FRONT .
• Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING TEMPERATURE SENSOR .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT BUMPER COVER .

• Detach the bumper guide (1) with the detents (2) and remove them towards the bottom.

• Release wiring harness from the holders (1).
• Release wiring harness with the holders (2).
• Unlock the detents (3) and remove the ultrasonic sensor (4) to the top.

  Ultrasonic sensor remains plugged in on the wiring harness.

• Loosen expanding rivet (1).
• Release the brace in the bumper cover (2) from the detents (3).

• Guide out the brace in the bumper cover in the areas (1) from the bumper cover.
• Release the brace in the bumper cover from detents (2) and (3).
• Guide out the brace in the bumper cover in arrow direction from the bumper cover.

• Release the air duct of the bumper cover laterally from the detents (1) and remove it.
