Installing Top Cowl Panel And A-Pillar Completely

Use only approved spot welder for repair.

Install the new parts with an alignment bracket or a universal mount.
Weld new part in the areas (1) and (2) as per the new part preparation process.

Apply sealant D1 to cavity sealing (1).
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

Sealant D1 (seam sealing) 310ml 83422409985

Install cavity sealing (1).
Apply sealant D1 to cavity sealing (2).
Install the new part with an alignment bracket or a universal fixture.
Weld separating cut (1) and the areas (2) and (3) as per the new part preparation process.

Weld new part in the area (1) as per the new part preparation process.
In so doing, avoid excessive heat input in the adhesive areas (3) behind.
In the areas (2) apply repair spot-welds to the series spot-welds.

Perform plug weldings (2) in the flange area (3) from the inside.
