Remove A-pillar With The Reinforcement

Mark and carry out the separating cut (1) as per dimension a. Thereby disconnect only the outer panel. Dimension a = 150 mm.
Release welded connections in areas (2).

Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (3).

Open welded connections in area (1).
Open spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (2).

Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (1).
Release and remove the A-pillar outer part from the cavity sealing (2).

Release welded connections in areas (2).
Remove connecting plate (3).

Carry out the rough separating cuts (1) on the bulkhead (4).
Partially open the welded connections in areas (2) with a file belt grinder.
Open spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (3).
Remove bulkhead (4).

Perform a rough separating cut (1) on the crash reinforcement
Release welded connections in areas (2).
Open the spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (3) and remove the crash reinforcement.

Perform separating cuts (1) as shown. Only cut through the outer panel.
Open the welded connections in area (2) and remove the sheet metal cutout (3).
