Remove A-Pillar Reinforcement

Release welded connections in areas (1).
Open brazed connection in area (2).

Open spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (3).
Release bonded connection in area (4).
Release outer section of A-pillar from cavity sealing (5) and remove.

Release welded connections in areas (1).
Open spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (2).
Remove connecting plate (3).
Remove cavity sealing (4).

Carry out the rough separating cuts (1) on the bulkhead (4).
Partially open the welded connections in areas (2) with a file belt grinder.
Open spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (3).
Remove bulkhead (4).

Open welded connections in areas (1) and remove crash reinforcement (2).

Mark separating cut (1) according to dimension a and cut.
In so doing, do not damage the bulkhead (2) underneath.

Dimension a = 110 m.

Release welded connections in areas (1).
Open spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (2).
Release lower A-pillar from cavity sealing (3) and remove.

Perform separating cuts (1) as shown.
Open welded connections in area (2) and remove sheet metal cutout (3).
Remove cavity sealing (3).

Loosen welded connections in areas (1).
Open spot-welded adhesive joints in area (2) and remove A-pillar reinforcement.
