Releasing bonded connections

Release bonded rivet connections in the areas (1) and (2).

Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (1).

Release bonded rivet connections in the areas (1) and (2).

Mark severance cut (1) according to schematic diagram and disconnect.
Remove engine mount and wheel arch (2).

Open welded connections in area (1).
Unscrew the self-tapping screws and bonded connection in area (2).
Remove reinforcement (3).

(1) Mark severance cut () as pictured and cut. Detach the engine mount in sections.
Unscrew the self-tapping screw and bonded connection in the area (2).
Loosen the bonded rivet connections in the areas (3) partially with the belt sander.

Unscrew the self-tapping screws and bonded connections in the areas (1). Remove the engine mount (2).
