Removing seal for the rear roof frame
Precondition
- Battery charger connected.
CAUTION:
Folding up of convertible top through loss of pressure in hydraulic cylinders

- When carrying out all repair work, secure soft top and soft top compartment lid with a suitable support tool against collapsing. Ensure soft top is supported in the middle.
- Move soft top (1) to the position indicated.
The convertible top compartment lid (2) must be fully open.
The convertible top compartment lid (1) must be closed but no longer locked in the area (3).
- Switch off ignition.
The convertible top system will be depressurized about after 7 min and can further be operated manually.
NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side. - Loosen the screw (2) from inside the mounting plate (1).
- Move the mounting plate (1) downwards until the retaining pin (3) can be threaded out of the retaining strip for the seal of the roof frame (2).
- Feed the mounting plate (1) out from the seal.
- Detach the seal for the rear roof frame (1).NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
- Detach the retaining clip (1) for the roof frame seal at the rear (2) of the convertible top frame (3).
- Detach the seal for the rear roof frame (1) from the convertible top frame (2).
