Removing the Bowden cable for the emergency release
Precondition
Convertible top closed, convertible top compartment lid open.
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Unclip the emergency release (1) and detach the Bowden cable (2).

Unclip the Bowden cable for the convertible top compartment lid release (1) on the convertible top compartment lid mechanism (2).
Guide out the Bowden cable (1) and remove it.
