When replacing the roof trim strip

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE ROOF TRIM STRIP .

Precondition

The roof trim strip is already painted.

Apply a drop of superglue in the area (1) of the end cap.
Position the seal (2) correctly at the end cap.
Press on the seal (2) firmly until the superglue is dry.
Slide and engage the end cap in the arrow direction.
