Installing the electrical spindle drive for the tailgate

- Before installing the electrical spindle drive (1) for the tailgate, make sure that the retaining spring (2) is in its initial position.
- Check the retaining spring (2) for damage; if necessary, replace the electrical spindle drive (1) for the tailgate.
- Press the ball socket (1) in the arrow direction onto the ball hub (2) until the retaining spring (3) snaps in correctly and audibly.
- Clip in the cable bracket (2).
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
