Installing the tailgate seal
- Remove sealant residue from the sheet metal flange.
- Clean sheet metal flange.
- Replace tailgate seal (1).

- Mount tailgate seal (1), starting from the center at the top.
- Ensure that tailgate seal (1) rests correctly on all the adjacent trim panel components.
Check
- Check the closing function of the trunk lid.
Result
The trunk lid does not close correctly.
Measure
- Ensure that tailgate seal (1) rests correctly on all the adjacent trim panel components.
- Guide in and install trim panels (1) on left and right and fasten with a clip.
- Guide in and fasten wire (1).
