Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT WHEELS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION OR FRONT THRUST FIELD .
- Refer to REMOVING THE UNDERBODY PROTECTION OF THE STEERING GEAR AND THRUST FIELD RESPECTIVELY .
- Refer to RELEASING THE ANTI-ROLL BAR ON THE FRONT AXLE SUPPORT .
- Refer to REMOVING BOTH TRACK END RODS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE UNIVERSAL JOINT ON THE STEERING GEAR .
- Unlock and disconnect connector (1).
Carefully unclip the conduit on the front axle support and place to one side.
- Loosen screws (1) and remove steering gear from below.

- Unlock and disconnect connector (1).
Carefully unclip the conduit on the front axle support and place to one side.
- Loosen screws (1) and remove steering gear from below.
