Remove Outer Wheel Arch Section With Reinforcement

• Loosen blind rivet in area (1)  by grinding off the rivet head. Leave blind rivet remnants in the body.

• Open bonded rivet connections in area (2)  .
• Remove reinforcement on C-pillar (3)  .

• Remove cavity sealing (1)  .
• Roughly mark severance cut (2)  according to schematic diagram and disconnect.
• Loosen welded connections in areas (3)  .
• Remove support for C-pillar (4)  .

• Open the welded connections in the area (1)  and remove the C-pillar retaining strap (2)  .

• Release welded connections in areas (1)  .

• Mark severance cut (1)  according to schematic diagram and disconnect. Pay attention to the bonded connections (2)  underneath. Disconnect only the outer panel.
• Loosen welded connections in areas (3)  .

• Open welded connections in area (1)  .
• Open spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (2)  .
• Release bonded rivet connections in the areas (3)  and remove outer wheel arch section (4)  .
