Replacing the trim strip of the tail light on the left side panel

- Do not use any chemical and mechanical cleaning agents.

- Tape off the tail light (1) with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Coat the separating cord (1) with tensides (for example dish soap).
- Attach the separating cord (1) as shown.
- Separate adhesive layer of the trim strip (2) with the separating cord (1).
- Remove the trim strip (2).
- Pull off the double-sided adhesive tape (1) as shown.
- If required remove adhesive residue present with the thumb.
- Replace the trim strip.

- Detach the liner (1) on the trim strip (2) by about 1 cm.
- Position and align the trim strip (2) on the tail light with the trunk lid closed.
- Slowly detach the liner (1) and press the trim strip (2) simultaneously.
- Remove yellow plastic adhesive tape.
