Installing the seat surface
Checking safety belts (on vehicles with 5-seater)
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the safety belt.
If the seat surface is disassembled, the safety belt can be damaged by the seat mechanism.
Damage to the safety belt.
If the seat surface is disassembled, the safety belt can be damaged by the seat mechanism.
- Do not operate the seat adjustment mechanism with the seat surface disassembled (unless otherwise signaled).
- Check all safety belts (1) and lower straps (3) for damage and replace if necessary.
The safety belts (1) and lower straps (3) must not be trapped by the seat mechanism (2).
- For equipment specification with active seat:
Position seat surface (1) as illustrated.
Check quick connector (2) for damage, replace if necessary.
Connect lines (3) together and ensure that quick connector (2) engages correctly.
- Connect all connectors with the seat surface.
- Attach wire spring (1), first inside (tunnel side), into the stand (2) of the seat mechanism.
- Then attach wire spring (1), outside (door side), into the stand (2) of the seat mechanism.
- Ensure correct fit of the wire spring (1) in the stand (2).
- Guide seat belt buckle into seat surface.
- Clip in seat surface from above.
- Position the safety belt (1) between the rear seat backrest (2) and the seat surface (3) and straighten.
