Remove rear view camera
NOTE:

- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER TAILGATE TRIM STRIP .
- Variant with build level to 03/2019:
Loosen screw (1).
Pull the holder with the rearview camera (2) slightly to the front.
NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The rearview camera holder cannot be removed without damage and must be replaced. - Variant with build level from 03/2019:
Disengage the holder with the rearview camera (1) at the detents (2).
Pull holder with the rearview camera (1) slightly out of the handle (3).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Remove holder with rearview camera (2).
