Installing the steering gear
- Position the steering gear at the front axle support.
- Replace the screws (1)
and nuts.
Parts: Bolts, nuts
- Tighten down screws (1) .

Securing the tie rod on the left and right of the swivel bearing
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Position the tie rod (2) on the swivel bearing.
- Replace nut (1)

- Tighten nut (1) .
NOTE:
Counter-hold at the Torx socket.

Attaching the universal joint to steering gear
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The universal joint can be mounted only in one position.
The universal joint and the steering gear or the steering shaft are encoded to each other.
The clamping bolt must be positioned in the groove of the steering gear or the steering shaft.

- Clean the screw threads to remove all remnants of screw lock agent.
- Slide the universal joint (2) onto the steering gear.
- Replace the screw (1)
