Removing the steering gear

• Undo screws (1)  and remove steering gear (2)  toward the bottom.

Removing the universal joint on the steering gear 

• Loosen screw (1)  .
• Detach the universal joint (2)  on the steering gear.

Releasing the tie rod on the left and right from the swivel bearing 

• Release the nut (1)  .
  NOTE: Counter-hold at the Torx socket.
• Release the tie rod (2)  from the swivel bearing.

• Loosen screws (1)  and remove steering gear from below.
