Disconnecting all connectors from the DME control unit for cylinders 1 to 6 and from the integrated power supply module (PDM)
WARNING:

- Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment.
- Detach battery ground lead from battery.
- For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries.
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
If control units are disconnected, fault memory entries and functional limitations may occur.
The fault memory entries must be read out and, if necessary, deleted.

- Unlock the locks (arrows).
- Remove the cover (1)

- Unlock and detach all connectors (1) from the integrated power supply module (PDM).
- Unlock all connectors (2) from front to back and unplug them from the DME control unit.
