Removing the left intake plenum

Unlock the clamp (1) .

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unlock the locks (1) in the direction of the arrow.
Disconnect the transmission oil lines (2) .
Catch and dispose of the leakage transmission oil.

Release the belt tensioner (2) clockwise with a suitable socket wrench (1) .

Maintain the preload of the belt tensioner (1) using a suitable socket wrench (3) .
Secure the belt tensioner (1) against rotation, using a special tool 0 496 268 (11 0 390) (2) .

Unlock and disconnect the tank vent line (1) .
Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.

Remove the drive belt (1) from the belt pulley (2) of the air conditioning compressor (5) and put it aside.
Unlock plug connection (3) and disconnect.
Loosen screws (4) .
Detach the air conditioning compressor (5) and protect it from falling.

Release the wiring harness mountings (1) .

Loosen screws (1) .
Loosen screws (2) .
Guide out the left intake plenum and remove.
