Installing the right intake plenum

Contaminant or foreign body.
Contamination can result in malfunctions, loss of function or leaks.

Replace the seal (1) .
Parts: Seal

Check seal (1) at the charge air cooler (2) for damage, replace if necessary.

Clean the sealing surface (1) using special tool 0 495 102 (11 4 470) .

Guide the intake plenum (2) in to the right and install.

Tighten the screws (2) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Intake plenum
M8 screw	Tightening torque	21.4 Nm

Tighten the screws (1) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Intake plenum
M6 screw	Tightening torque	10 Nm

Connect and lock the connector of the intake air temperature sensor.
Fix wiring harness fasteners (1) .

Connect connectors (2) and lock.
The connector (2) must engage audibly.
Connect and lock tank vent line (1) .
The tank vent line (1) must engage audibly.

Lock clamp (1) .
