- Adhere to the utmost cleanliness.
- Protect components from contamination e.g. by covering.
- Close off line connections with seal plugs.
- Replace the seal (1)
.
Parts: Seal
- Check the seal (1)
on the charge air cooler (2)
for damage, replace it if necessary.
- Clean sealing surface (1) with special tool 0 495 102 (11 4 470)
.
- Feed in and install the intake plenum (1) .
- Tighten the screws (2)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Intake plenum M6 screw Tightening torque 10 Nm - Tighten the screws (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Intake plenum M8 screw Tightening torque 21.4 Nm - Connect connectors (2)
and lock.
The connector (2) must engage audibly.
- Connect and lock tank vent line (1)
.
The tank vent line (1) must engage audibly.
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Insert and install the air conditioning compressor (5) .
- Tighten down screws (4)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Air conditioning compressor to holder/engine M8 tightening torque 22 Nm - Connect connectors (3)
and lock.
The connector (3) must engage audibly.
- Position the drive belt (1)
on the belt pulley (2)
of the air conditioning compressor (5)
.
- Maintain the preload of the belt tensioner (1) using a suitable socket wrench (3) .
- Remove the special tool 0 496 268 (11 0 390) (2)
from the belt tensioner.
- Loosen the belt tensioner (2)
counterclockwise using a suitable socket wrench (1)
.
- Connect the transmission oil lines (2) .
- Lock the locks (1)
in the arrow direction.
The locks (1) must engage audibly.
- Lock clamp (1) .
Clamp (1) must engage audibly.
