Removing the intake plenum
Preliminary work

- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR LEFT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE REAR RIGHT ENGINE COMPARTMENT .

- Disconnect the plug connection (1) from the boost pressure sensor of cylinder bank 2.
- Disconnect the plug connection (2) from the boost pressure sensor of cylinder bank 1.
- Release the cable bracket (1) upwards from the attachments and put to one side.
- Lay cable clip (1) to one side.
- Unscrew the screw (1) the fuel line holder.
- Unscrew the screw (1) of the vacuum line holder.
- Unlock connector (1) and detach.
- Unlock tank vent line (2) and remove from tank vent valve (3).
- Remove the tank vent valve (3) from the holder.
- Unlock tank vent line (1) and remove from tank vent valve.
- Unlock and disconnect the connector (2) from the tank vent valve.
- Disconnect the tank vent valve (3) from the holder.
- Release all the screws (1) through the openings (arrows) with the special tool 0 496 646 (11 4 410)
.
- Unlock the lock (1).
- Detach the engine ventilation line from the intake plenum (2).
- Thread out intake plenum (2) and remove.
