Remove the trim from the side panel
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Build level through 03.19:
Lever out the trim (1) at the side panel with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325)
from the clamps (2) and remove it to the rear.
The trim (1) at the side panel cannot be removed without damaging it and must always be replaced.
- Build date after 03.19: Carefully lever out the trim on the side panel (1) with special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) at the clips (2).
- Loosen the trim on the side panel (1) with special tool 0 493 681 (64 1 020) on the clamps (3) and remove toward the rear.
