51 41... Removing and installing/replacing switch cover on left or right front door trim panel (330i xDrive Wagon, 328d xDrive Wagon, 330i GT xDrive, 340i GT xDrive)

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove door handle COVER
Use a suitable tool (1) to release latch mechanism (2) of switch cover (3) in direction of arrow.
Unclip switch cover (3) from door trim panel towards front/top.
Disconnect plug connection and remove switch cover (3).
Installation note:
Following parts must not be missing or damaged:
- Catch
- Retaining clips
- Guides
Replacement:
Remount POWER WINDOW SWITCH (4). .
