Removing and installing (replacing) ornamental grille for bumper panel (side) (330i GT xDrive, 340i GT xDrive)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front BUMPER PANEL .

Release cover rod (1) at latch mechanisms (2) and pull out of bumper panel (3).

Latch mechanisms (arrow) at cover rod (1) must not be missing or damaged.

Release ornamental grille (1) at latch mechanisms (2) and pull out of bumper panel (3).
