Removing the seals and cleaning the sealing surfaces

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.

• Remove the seals on the lid and the rear axle differential housing using a special tool 0 495 102 (11 4 470)  .
• Clean the sealing surfaces (1)  on the lid and on the rear differential.
