Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL .
- Refer to LOOSENING THE OUTPUT SHAFT FROM THE WHEEL BEARING .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LOWER WHEEL ARCH COVER .
- Loosen screw (1).
- Guide out and remove the screw (1).
- Feed out the crash lever (2) and remove.
- Loosen nut (1).
NOTE:
Counter-hold at the Torx socket.
- Releasing tension strut from swivel bearing (2).
- Push the output shaft (1) upwards slightly.
- Feed out tension strut (2) in the arrow direction and remove.
