Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL .
- Refer to LOOSENING THE OUTPUT SHAFT FROM THE WHEEL BEARING .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT BOTTOM SIDE COVER .
- Loosen screw (2).
- Release the tension strut (1) from the front subframe.
- Release the nut (1). If necessary, counter-hold at the Torx socket.
- Release the tension strut from the swivel bearing (2).
- Push the output shaft (1) upwards slightly.
- Feed out tension strut (2) in the arrow direction and remove.

- Loosen screw (2).
- Release the tension strut (1) from the front subframe.
- Release the nut (1). If necessary, counter-hold at the Torx socket.
- Release the tension strut from the swivel bearing (2).
- Push the output shaft (1) upwards slightly.
- Feed out tension strut (2) in the arrow direction and remove.
