Install the trailing link

• Replace the cage nut (1).

  Parts:  Cage nut

• Push output shaft (1) slightly upwards.
• Feed in the tension strut (2) in the arrow direction.

• Position the tension strut at the swivel bearing (2).
• Replace nut (1).

  Parts:  Nut

• Tighten nut (1). If necessary, counter support at the Torx socket.

• Position the tension strut (1) on the front subframe.
• Replace the screw (2).

  Parts:  Screw

• Feed in screw (2) and tighten hand-tight.

  The screw connection is tightened later in NORMAL POSITION .

Follow-up work 

• Refer to FASTENING THE OUTPUT SHAFT ON THE WHEEL BEARING .
• Refer to ATTACHING THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL .
• Refer to MEASURING THE RIDE HEIGHT OF THE FRONT AXLE AND ADJUSTING THE NORMAL POSITION .
• Refer to TIGHTENING THE SCREW CONNECTION OF THE TENSION STRUT ON THE FRONT SUBFRAME .
• Refer to INSTALLING BOTTOM FRONT COVER FROM THE SIDE .
