Installing the upper seat belt

- Before performing any work on the airbag, always disconnect the battery ground lead from the battery.
- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Clean all threaded belt connections with micro-encapsulated outer and internal threads.
Shavings or other debris must not remain in the components.
If a microencapsulated screw is reused, it must be coated with the following screw locking agent: Loctite 243, medium strength .
The screw connection must be completed within 10 minutes as hardening begins after this period.

- Position the seat belt retractor (3).
- Replace the screw (2).

- Tighten down screw (2).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Replace screw.Tightening torque 42 Nm - Connect connectors (1) and lock.NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
- Position the seat belt guide loop (4).
- Tighten down screw (3).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Seat belt guide loop on body Screw tightening torque 42 Nm - Attach slide bar (2).
- Tighten the screws (1).
