- Before performing any work on the airbag, always disconnect the battery ground lead from the battery.
- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Clean all threaded belt connections with micro-encapsulated outer and internal threads.
Shavings or other debris must not remain in the components.
If a microencapsulated screw is reused, it must be coated with the following screw locking agent: Loctite 243, medium strength .
The screw connection must be completed within 10 minutes as hardening begins after this period.

- Position the seat belt retractor (5).
- Replace screws (3) and (4).

Replace screw.Tightening torque 42 Nm - Tighten down screw (3).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Additional screw connection of REMA to body M8
Replace screw.Tightening torque 19 Nm - Clip in wiring harness with the holder (2).
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Position the seat belt guide loop (2).
- Tighten down screw (1).
