Partially lowering the rear headlining

Precondition

The rear seat backrest is folded toward the front.

NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.

Release expanding rivet (1) in the headlining (2).
Loosen the headlining (1) with the clips (2).
Guide out the headlining (1) on the respective edge protection and place it onto the head restraints of the front seats.

NOTE: The operations shown only for one side must be carried out on both sides.

Unscrew the screw (1) on the headlining (2).

Detach the headlining (1) with the clips (2).
Guide out the headlining (1) on the respective edge protection and set it aside on the head restraints.
