Removing the lid of electrical machine electronics

Do not place anything on the highly integrated electrified drive topology 

• Do not place any tools or objects on the electric drive unit to avoid damaging the pressure compensation element (1)  .

• Loosen screws (1)  .

• Raise lid (1)  at the positions indicated with an arrow using a large screwdriver.
• Remove the lid (1)  .

Removing the top sound insulation 

• Loosen screws (1)  .
• Remove strut (2)  .
• Loosen screws (3)  .
• Set the high-voltage cable (4)  aside.
• Release the clamps (arrows).
• Remove the sound insulation (5)  .

  Removing the right mounting bracket 

• Release the wiring harness mountings (1)  .
• Release the screw (2)  .
• Release screws (3)  .
• Remove the mounting bracket (4)  .

• Raise lid (1)  at the positions indicated with an arrow using a large screwdriver.
