Attaching highly integrated electrified drive topology to the assembly jig

Mount 5 A1B E86 onto the suspended electric drive unit (3) .
Hand-tighten the screws (1) .
2 455 010 Mount on 5 A1B E86 .
Hand-tighten the screws (2) .

5 A2B A98 and remove 2 456 428 from the highly integrated electrified drive topology (3) .
NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The oil module and the transmission of the electric drive unit are filled with oil.
Tilting the electric drive unit will cause oil to run out.

Maintain the horizontal position of the electric drive unit (3) during the entire repair.
Do not tilt the electric drive unit (3) .

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
A temperature of the electric drive unit of approx. 18°C is sufficient for draining and topping up the transmission oil.
Place a suitable collecting vessel under both oil drain plugs (1) and (2) .
Loosen oil drain plugs (1) and (2) .
Drain off transmission oil.
Dripping time approx. 5 min

(Target quantity of the drained transmission oil: 1.71)

Tighten the oil drain plug (1) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Oil drain plug to oil module
	Tightening torque	5 Nm

Replace the sealing ring of oil drain plug (2) .
Parts: Sealing ring

Tighten oil drain plug (2) .

M16	Tightening torque	35 Nm

Place the electric drive unit in the center on the engine support bracket.

Before assembly, position the electric drive unit (1) on 0 495 187 (00 2 300)special tools 2 413 082 and 0 495 198 (00 2 322) as follows:
2 413 082 and screw 0 495 198 (00 2 322) together so that the left (2) 2 bores and right (3) 4 bores can be seen.

M16	Tightening torque	35 Nm

Swivel the electric drive unit (1) out of the pictured position by 90° in the arrow direction.
In this position, all repair procedures are performed on the electric drive unit (1) .
