Remove the rear door handle

Precondition 

2 persons are required for removing the door handle.

• Pull the door handle (1) until the service openings (2) can be seen without obstruction.

• Insert both standard tools (1) into the service openings (2) of the door handle (3) and position them.

  Standard tools: Allen wrench 1.5 mm

• Simultaneously push in both standard tools (1) with 10 N (maximum permitted compressive force 20 N) and keep under tension.

  This unlocks both detents (2).

• Have the assistant pull the door handle (1) in the arrow direction with 30 N to 40 N and detach it from the detents (2).
• Remove the door handle (1).
• If present, unlock and disconnect the associated plug connection.
