Installing the cover of the luggage compartment

Precondition 

Rear seat backrest is folded.

Check 

• Check the clip (1) at the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf for damage, replace if necessary.
• Check clamps (2) on the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf for damage and replace if necessary.
• Check the detents (3) at the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf for damage.

Result 

» Detents (3) are damaged.

Measure 

• Replace cover of the luggage compartment side shelf.

  Parts:  Cover of the luggage compartment side shelf

• Fit and position the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf.
• Clip in the cover of the luggage compartment trim panel using the detents (1) and the clip (2).
• Feed in the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf below the sealing lip of the tailgate seal.

• Clip the cover of the luggage compartment side shelf into the clamps (1) and the detent (2).
