Remove Headunit High (HU-H)
Preliminary work

- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

The hard disk of the head unit can be damaged by vibrations.

The hard disk of the head unit can be damaged by vibrations.
- Carry out mechanical work on the head unit and adjacent components with care.
- Release the screws (1) on head unit (2).
- Pull the head unit (2) a little to the rear and tilt downwards.
- Feed out the head unit (1) as shown through the marked one until the connectors behind that are accessible.
- Unlock and disconnect all the plug connections in the marked area.
- Remove the head unit (1).
