Remove side trim panel, rear left and right

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Remove rear side trim panel

Unclip cover cap (1).
Loosen screw (2).

Pull out sleeve (1) from cover (2) of strap fitting (3).
Unclip cover (2) of strap fitting (3) from strap fitting (3).

Unclip the rear side trim panel (1) from clamps (2) using a suitable tool.
Unclip the rear side trim panel (1) from clips (3) using a suitable tool.
Release the rear side trim panel (1) from clamps (4) and guide it out from the edge protection.
Unlock and disconnect all the plug connections on the rear side trim panel (1) of the wiring harness.
Guide out upper seat belt (5).
