NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Installing C-pillar trim panel

WARNING: Pyrotechnic components.
Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries!

All work on pyrotechnic parts may be carried out by technically experienced and appropriately trained personnel only.
Replace any damaged part or ones that have been dropped.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the head airbag.
Improper use of a tool when removing the trim panel may damage the head airbag.

Check the clips (1) for damage and replace where required.

Position the C-pillar trim panel (2) and clip in at the clips (1).

Tighten down screw (2).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Screw	tightening torque	2.6 Nm

Installing C-pillar trim panel

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.

Check the clamps (1) on the C-pillar trim panel (2) for damage and replace if necessary.

Position the C-pillar trim panel (2) insert it below the sealing lip of the door weather strip and clip it in with the clamps (3).

Tighten down screw.

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Sheet metal screw 8 x 38	Tightening torque	2.6 Nm
