Partially removing luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.

• Unclip the cover (1).
• Unscrew the screw (2) and remove the rear lashing eye (3).

• Release expanding rivet (1).
• Guide the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel out of the sealing lip of the tailgate seal.
• Release the luggage compartment wheel arch trim panel with the clip (2) and swivel it inward.
