Removing The Rear Left Side Panel
- Mark the separating cut (1) on the D-pillar according to the dimension (a) and make the cut. Disconnect only the outer panel.
Dimension (a) = 130 mm from the corner of the roof outer skin

Determination of separating cut using a template - Determine position of the separating cut in addition to the dimensions with the aid of a template (1).
- Carry out the separating cut (1) in the water channel as shown. Disconnect only the outer panel.
(2) = Separating cut on the D-pillar
- Mark the separating cut (1) on the C-pillar according to the dimension (a) and make the cut. Disconnect only the outer panel.
Dimension (a) = 45 mm
- Compare position of severance cut with reinforcement plate.
- Mark the separating cut (1) on the door sill in accordance with dimension (a) and make the cut. Disconnect only the outer panel.
Dimension (a) = 145 mm from the center point of the hole with Ø 20 mm
- Compare position of severance cut with reinforcement plate.
- Release the welded connections in areas (1).NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Loosening bonded folded joints - Detach the folded bonded joints in area (2).
- Release the welded connections in areas (1).
- Open the welded connections in area (1).
- Release the welded connections in areas (1).
- Release and remove the side panel from cavity sealings (1).
