Mark and make the separating cuts on the new part in accordance with the separating cuts on the vehicle.

Reinforcement plate with stud bolt (glued or welded)
At the separating cuts, prepare the reinforcement plates for the welded connection and the bonded connection.
Adapt reinforcement plate (1) and the new part to the separating cut (2) on the C-pillar.
Prepare separating cut (1) and reinforcement plate (2) for joining by welding.

At the separating cut (1) in the water channel, align the universal reinforcement plate (2) and adjust it with the new part.
Prepare the separating cut (1) and universal reinforcement plate (2) for joining by welding.

In the area (1), drill 7 Ø 4.2 mm bores for blind rivets.
In areas (2) and (3), prepare for joining using the bonded rivet method (punch rivets).

In the area (1), drill 6 Ø 4.2 mm bores for blind rivets.
Prepare area (2) for joining using the bonded rivet method (punch rivets).

In the area (1), drill one Ø 4.2 mm bore for a blind rivet.
Prepare area (2) for joining using the bonded rivet method (punch rivets).
Prepare the area (3) for joining by welding. Dimension a approx. 270 mm.
N.B.: The area (3) corresponds with the area of the component "Reinforcement of roof frame" (4).

Prepare the area (1) for joining by welding.
N.B.: The area (1) corresponds to the area of the "roof frame reinforcement" component.
Prepare areas (2) for joining using the bonded rivet method (punch rivets).
Prepare area (3) for the bonded rivet method (beading).
Remove new part and deburr holes.
