Prepare New Part

• Mark and make the separating cuts on the new part in accordance with the separating cuts on the vehicle.

• At the separating cuts, prepare the reinforcement plates for the welded connection and the bonded connection.
• Adapt reinforcement plate (1) and the new part to the separating cut (2) on the C-pillar.
• Prepare separating cut (1) and reinforcement plate (2) for joining by welding.
• Prepare separating cut (1) and reinforcement plate (2) for joining using the bonded rivet method.

• Prepare Separating cut (1) and reinforcement plate (2) for joining using the bonded rivet method.
• In areas (1) and (2): Make bores of 4.2 mm for the blind rivets.

• In areas (3) and (4), prepare for joining using the bonded rivet method (punch rivets).
• In areas (1) to (3): Make bores of 4.2 mm for the blind rivets.

• Prepare the area (4) for joining by the bonded rivet method (with punch rivets).

• Prepare area (1) for joining using the bonded rivet method (punch rivets).
