Removing The Rear Left Side Panel
- Mark the separating cut (1) at the D-pillar to dimension and cut. Disconnect only the outer panel.
Dimension a = 130 mm from the corner of the roof outer skin.

Determination of separating cut using a template - Determine position of the separating cut in addition to the dimensions with the aid of a template (1).
- Carry out the separating cut (1) in the water channel as shown. Disconnect only the outer panel.
(2) = separating cut at D-pillar
- Mark the separating cut (1) at the C-pillar according to the dimensions and sever. Disconnect only the outer panel.
Dimension a = 45 mm.
- Compare position of severance cut with reinforcement plate.
- Mark the separating cut (1) on the door sill according to dimensions and cut. Disconnect only the outer panel.
Dimension a = 145 mm from the center of the hole with Ø 20 mm.
- Compare position of severance cut with reinforcement plate.

Loosening bonded folded joints - Detach the folded bonded joints in area (2).
- Release the welded connections in areas (1).
- Open the welded connections in area (1).
- Release the welded connections in areas (1).
- Release and remove the side panel from cavity sealings (1).
