Preparing New Part
- Coat the side panel before painting in this area (1)
using sealant D1.CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION
Sealant D1 (seam sealing) 310 ml 83422409985 - Paint side panel.
- Release screw (1) and remove guide (2) from the side panel to be replaced.
- Check the lock and positioning pins (3) for damage. If necessary, replace the guide.
- Install the guide (2)
on the new part. Tighten down screw (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Guides to side panel Screw tightening torque 3.0 Nm - Release the seal (1) at the detents (2) and remount it on the new part.
- Remount plastic nuts (3) onto the new part.
